"October's Fastener Fair Stuttgart is just what our industry needs to kick-start a recovery in Europe's fastener sector," says Organiser Jerry Ramsdale. "We have timed the event and designed it in the hope that it will prove the turning point for everyone in the fastener sector who has been suffering during these difficult times."
The industry certainly seems to have embraced Ramsdale¡¯s message, with over 600 companies from 37 countries exhibiting, making it the largest-ever dedicated fastener show to be run in Europe. "There has been a significant growth from German and Italian exhibitors," says Ramsdale, "and we have seen an increase in companies from developing economies such as India and Turkey."
"In addition to our record-breaking number of exhibitors, we're also looking forward to welcoming more visitors than ever before," adds Ramsdale. "Our research has shown that fastener sector buyers and decision-makers are keen to position themselves for the future, by finding new suppliers, learning about the latest advances and networking with peers from around the world. And we've got some exciting features to offer them, including a showcase of exciting fastener industry innovations."
Fastener Fair Stuttgart takes place on 7th and 8th October at the new exhibition centre next to Stuttgart International Airport in Germany. A networking event, which is free to all registered visitors, exhibitors and members of the press, takes place immediately after the show on the first day.
As the show is expected to be very busy, visitors are encouraged to sign up online at http://www.boltnuts.net/ to avoid having to queue and register when they arrive. Those visitors who do register online will save money, have pre-show news by email, get a free show guide, and enjoy fast-track entry.
